These games, produced by Propeller, have proved to be a resounding success. The games cover and state the curriculum objectives clearly, which is great for saving time for us Teachers which has not ways been the case when using other resources. Children are engaged by the games immediately and they often forget they are involved in learning ‘Maths’.
There is a wide range of games to support all areas of the curriculum with additions such as spinners to add to the excitement for the children. I have found children quickly make progress using these resources and want to push themselves to the next level.
I have used the games individually, in small groups as well as whole classes. In the latter as starters, the main part of lessons and plenaries. They also offer a vital versatility with the blank whiteboard on the back. The games save time for us Teachers and hit the objectives accurately. As a teacher, it is great to be able to use these resources knowing they relate accurately to the curriculum. The children are engaged with the games, and they can be used for other needs, for example, as whiteboards. I have used them prolifically over the last six months and would recommend them to other practitioners.
